process
There are a lot of decisions to be made when considering your outdoor kitchen – design, materials, appliances, accessories, colours and more! We try to keep things as simple as possible to make sure you know where you are at through every stage of the process.
in the beginning
1. contact
You contact us via the website, email or phone. Whether it’s just a general enquiry or to make a booking for a site visit, we are happy to help!
2. meeting
Ideally at your place so we can measure up your space and show you some samples and examples of our work. We can also meet you at the showroom if you prefer.
3. quote
We deliver the quote, usually by email. This is a document which contains not just the price, but a detailed design along with fully detailed description of exactly what is and isn’t included in your quotation. (The quote is usually delivered within 5 working days of the site meeting)
4. feedback
This is the point where you get back to us with any changes, questions or considerations you might have. We can then easily alter the design and quote to suit these changes until you are happy.
5. acceptance
The fun begins! At this point we send across an invoice for deposit and we get the ball rolling immediately.
the fun part
1. final measure
Once deposit has been sorted and you are fully booked in, we can organise a time to come back around to go through final measurements.
2. colour selection
Time to order some Dulux Powder swatches, which will be delivered to your door within 2-3 days. We also go through your bench options, and deliver relevant samples or instructions regarding final selection.
3. cabinet install
Within 2 weeks, the base cabinetry is installed. This allows us to template the benchtop and measure any waterfall ends and inconsistencies in the walls.
4. benchtop/appliances
2 weeks from cabinet installation, your benchtop will be delivered and professionally installed. The appliances are usually installed within the next day or 2.
5. completion/handover
So, usually within 5 weeks of the final measure, your kitchen is completed and handover takes place. At this point we drop off our handover package and leave you to enjoy your kitchen!
the honeymoon period
The kitchen is complete, you are loving it, using it every night and getting many compliments from friends and family. Our relationship doesn’t have to end here though – if there’s anything else we can help with, or if something has been damaged or not working then we are always on hand to come back and help out. We are only ever an email or phone call away.
